Our Tasks - You Decide...

Hey there 'Mates!

This year we will have "assignment/taskforce" options for everyone to CHOOSE from in order to maximize our team's time, strengths and interests.  We welcome help from everyone whether you are only able to give a few hours a month or maybe a few each week.

Please review the list below and leave a comment about your top two selections (in order of preference) and how much time you would like to allocate to these selections.  You are welcome to be on a couple different sub-committees, too.
  • Benefit/Cause Sub-Committee - Once our overall team decides what it will be, we need people to make sure it is implemented throughout the event and process of planning.
  • Venue Sub-Committee - Including: Budget, Date, Location (both city and course), Caterer, Venue provisions for golfers, sponsors and non-golfers.
  • Communications Sub-Committee -  Including:  Mailers/Postcards/Newsletters (Thank you 2009 Sponsors, Save the Date Announcement, Signage, Articles, Fliers, CVent, Follow-up Survey, etc).
  • Design Sub-Committee - Including: Event T-shirt; Updating logo, CVent & Event banners; Postcard & Publicity layouts; Special Event Tickets; Sponsors' Signage; & Publications; Name Badges; Course Map; etc.
  • Sponsorship Sub-Committee - Determine sponsorship opportunities (ie. sponsorship levels, publicity, costs, benefits, and creating a defined sponsorship packet of these costs/benefits, etc). Obtain sponsors, send invoices and contracts, collect money, point of contact for sponsors (day of event).
  • Special Events & Items Sub-Committee - Ball Drop Contest, Raffle, Goodie Bags, Super Ticket, Professional Photographer, etc.

  2. I'll volunteer for the Communications and Design sub-committees - a couple of hours a week works for me.

  3. I can only manage a few hours a month, so please use me where you see fit. I can definitely help out more as the event gets closer with preparation tasks and set up things.

  4. I don't have a lot of time to put into the golf tournament this year--maybe just a couple of hours a month. Use me where you can.
