Hi Everyone!
We are at the start of our Event planning for the 2010 Golf Tournament! Welcome back to those who helped out last year and welcome aboard to our new teammates! I know this will be a fun committee and we will have a blast working hard to create a successful tournament. Please be inspired by the fact that this event has a greater purpose than just being a golf tourney. It will impact business relationships, on an individual and company-wide basis; provide funding for future SMPS programs; and allow us to select a CAUSE or BENEFIT to support.
Did you all get to see the scholarship applicant receive her check at the Astral Awards? It was really cool to see how much she was involved in the community and our A|E|C industry (volunteer hours galore)!
The ideas that have been thrown out so far are 2-3 scholarships for local higher-ed students or having a Carbon Neutral Tournament. We want all of your ideas and votes. What would you like to see our tournament promote/support?
